Italy is all about food .... and working it all off! You spend most of your time in Italy sightseeing: hours crawling slowly through the Uffizi Gallery gazing at all the astounding renaissance artwork in Florence; walking through ruins and monuments unscathed by time in Rome; strolling in and out the hidden streets and bridges across the maze of canals in Venice.
Well if that's not enough exercise for you, there's plenty more to be done! Whatever your favorite workout involves, we can hook you up to keep in shape while you're in Italy.
Work out
Just want to lift a few weights and work it off on the treadmill? Local gyms and fitness training centers welcome travellers and give you a per day pass to use their equipment.
Jump in the pool
A swim after a long day walking can be a great way to relax, but if your hotel doesn't have a pool where do you go? We set you up transportation and all to spend a few hours stroking and soaking in local swimming pools.
Guided biking
An exciting way to see Tuscany is to take a bike ride through the hills, stopping at towns and villages for a water refill and hearty lunch. Bring your own or rent onsite, an expert guide can accompany you with stories of knights and noblemen who used to inhabit the medieval cities. Read about biking in Italy on our Press page.
Guided hiking
The Italian Alpine Club (CAI) has mapped out trails in every region and offers clearly marked hiking excursions for those interested in exploring on foot. Local guides can take you to secret peaks and undiscovered crests, making your honeymoon or vacation the best ever!
Tee Time
Bring your clubs (or rent them onsite) and experience the Italian greens, from north to south. Golf Courses and driving ranges are located around the country, several of them in Tuscany plus two Championship courses, one in Sardinia and one in Puglia.
